Tuesday, 14 April, 2020 | The government of Nepal has re-added the lockdown period in Nepal.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers held today (Tuesday) has decided to extend the lock-in period to 2 weeks by the next day to Baisakh 15.Likewise, it has been decided to postpone the airstrikes by the next day.
Internal (domestic) flights have been postponed until Baishakh-18.This is the fourth time the government has extended the lockdown period that has been in force since Chaitra 11.
So far, 16 coronas have been found infected in Nepal, and only 2 have been confirmed coronary infections in the capital's Suncity Apartments.
Another person was also found infected with the corona virus in Kailali and Rautahat on Monday.
Earlier, the government had announced lockdown for the period on Chaitra 11 to Chaitra 18. Meanwhile, the neighboring country of India has announced a lockdown by May 2.
